Georgie Parker

Georgie Parker is a twotime Gold Logie award winning Australian television actress and has also appeared in film and theatre. She is best known for her acting roles in soap opera as Lucy Gardiner in A Country Practice, Theresa Terri Sullivan in All Saints and Ruth Roo Stewart in Home and Away.

Parker grew up in the Sydney North Shore s suburb of St Ives and attended St Ives North Public School in primary and attended Abbotsleigh School for Girls, in Sydney. She has been married since December 1999 to Steve Worland, the screenwriter of the Fox Searchlight feature film Bootmen . Worland is also an actionadventure novelist and wrote Velocity and Combustion . They have a daughter, Holly, born in September 2000. Parker suffers from Scoliosis and is an ambassador of the National Scoliosis Foundation
